[Invited Talk] Results on Design and Implementation of Earth Station Based on Software Defined Radio for Geostationary Satellite Communication Systems

(in English) In this paper, we present main results about our national research project on Design and Implementation of extended C - band Earth Station Based on Software Defined Radio for Geostationary Satellite Communication Systems. We not only focus on design and implementation of RF subsystems such ad Low Noise Block, Block Up Converter but also on baseband signal processing subsystem. The RF subsystem is designed and fabricated using Rogers RO4350B substrate. The baseband signal processing subsystem included all algorithms is designed and implemented on FPGA and embedded system. The measurement results are presented to show the performances of the proposed system.
