(in English) A range adaptive wireless transmission system via magnetic resonance coupling is proposed. The proposed system consists of variable capacitor-loaded folded helix coils that can excite the folded mode and single mode. The proper combination of both modes yields highly efficient transmission in a wide variation of the range, i. e. , from the range of a conventional single helix transmission system up to the range of the folded helix transmission system possessing longer range. This range adaption mechanism is clarified by the method of moments based software, FEKO, exploiting the ratio of the induced currents on parallel arms of coils. A prototype transmission system exhibits transmission coefficients higher than -0.9 dB in a range of 0.3 m to 0.7 m.
