Dynamic Expiration Timer Control Method for QoS-aware Packet Chunking

(in English) By spread of Internet of Things that every “thing” connects to the Internet, extremely small-sized packets generated by various and enormous devices will flow into the Internet. Because existing core routers difficult
to process the enormous packets, a packet chunking scheme that an edge router agrregates multiple packets and reduces the number of packets flowing into a core network is proposed. However, a waiting time for the packet chunking at the edge router should be set to satisfy required quality of an application, because a state of the core network changes at all time. In this paper, we propose a dynamic waiting time control using the state of the network to satisfy the required quality of an application and will evaluate its effectiveness by a simulation.
