The 500MHz band low power rectenna for DTV in Tokyo metropolitan area

(in English) In this paper, the 500MHz band low power rectennas for DTV in Tokyo metropolitan area are described. The rectenna is consisting of the Cockcroft-Walton rectifier (1stage, 2atages) and the high-impedance folded dipole antenna for the higher output voltage. The developed rectenna achieves the rectification efficiency of 43.7%(1stage) and 22.1%(2stages) at -15dBm of the input power. Also experimental results in Tokyo metropolitan area indicate the output DC voltage of 0.17V@25km (1stage), 0.22V@25km (2stages).
