Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) CoMP-JT (Coordinated Multiple Point Joint Transmission) is a technology to improve the cell-edge performance in LTE-Advanced. We developed a control architecture to realize downlink CoMP-JT with inter eNB (evolved NodeB) coordination using SU-MIMO (Single User - Multi Input Multi Output). In this paper, we will propose athe control architecture to realize downlink CoMP-JT with inter eNB coordination using MU-MIMO (Multi User - MIMO) . In addition, we propose a method to switch CoMP-JT schemes such as coordinated SU-MIMO and coordinated MU-MIMO depending on the wireless signal quality and the position of UEs (User Equipment).
