Nowadays, career education is becoming more important in Japan. As well in Kanagawa Institute of Technology (KAIT), the career education program including "Career Design & Development", "Internship", and "Employment Support Seminar" has been carried out for enhancing student’s motivation and capability of the career design. In this article, we introduce the “Kaisya Houmon Taiken (KHT)” where students make a two-hour visit to companies for surveying the company information. We performed the KHT 3 times in 2014 and 2015 based on collaboration between Kanagawa Information services industry Association (KIA) and KAIT as academia-industry cooperation. In addition, we consider a Web system for supporting the KHT, which is implemented on our Course Management System (CMS). The result of the questionnaire shows student’s high satisfaction to the KHT, and we can conclude that the KHT is useful for raising student awareness toward work. |
