In this paper, we propose a method to generate the grid points of 3D Look-Up Table in a color space for device calibration.
Since currently known color spaces are not uniform color spaces, or the color differences in terms of Euclidean distance in a color space do not agree with subjective color differences, generating grid points for
3D-LUT by spacing some color space uniformly is not a good method.
In this research, we propose a new method for generating grid points for 3D-LUT using color discrimination threshold and we confirm its effectiveness by objective evaluation. |
