Prediction formula of propagation loss in a dense human body shadowing environment in 5GHz wireless communications

(in English) This paper presents an estimation formula of propagation loss in 5GHz band with dense human body shadowing in an urban area. The measurement was carried out in a crowded crosswalk. The estimation formula is expressed as a function of the horizontal distance between the transmitter and the receiver and the density of the shadowing human bodies based on an estimation formula presented in an ITU-R Recommendation. The measured data was processed to obtain the values of the coefficients of the function. We discussed the implied characteristics and the justifications of the prediction formula.
