Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) are systems to help the driver in the driving process. ADAS relies on inputs from multiple data sources, including camera, radar, LiDAR, ultrasonic sensor and in-car networking. The aim of next generation ADAS toward an automated driving is all-weather systems and is to accurately detect and recognize surrounding objects, including man-made structures, large and small vehicles and pedestrian. However, the recognizing performance of camera depends on weather and LiDAR is costly system. In this paper, we propose the sensor fusion method to improve recognition the targets by measurement. To propose the sensor fusion method, we used camera and radar. We estimate ROI with using radar to accurate distance and velocity, because of reduce the cost of image processing calculation. |
