［ポスター講演］Wireless Medical Communications - WiMeC -- Overview of the research activities at CWC --

抄録 （和） Wireless medical communication (WiMeC) is one of the research groups at Centre for Wireless Communications. Our main research focus has been on IEEE802.15.6 based energy-efficient ultra wideband (UWB) transceiver performance studies (physical and medium access control layers), UWB on-body antennas and UWB on-on/on-off body radio channel measurements and modeling. New directions are towards visible light communications in medical and welfare related applications as well as nano-scale communications. Our research has contributed to ETSI TC SmartBAN standardization and we have been active in organizing international symposiums and workshops under the WiMeC topic.
