Optical fiber cable transfer have increased with expansion of optical fiber network. Optical signal monitoring is utilized to verify that the optical fiber cable transfer has been done right. We have studied the local light detection technique to monitor signals on the optical fiber cable transfer construction site. We have achieved high coupling efficiency enough to monitor signals on the construction site. In this paper, we investigate an arrangement of probe fibers which receive leakage light from a bent fiber to apply monitoring upstream transmission signals with the local light detection technique to 4-fiber ribbons. |
