Implementation of parallel particle swarm optimizers on PC cluster

(in English) This paper proposes an implementation method of the particle swarm optimizer (PSO) to PC cluster. In PSO, many particles search an optimum solution for the target problem by sharing the best solution information to each other. In the proposed method, each sub-swarm of particles is implemented in each node on the PC cluster, and the best solution information is communicated between each sub-swarm based on the conditions for the states or time. By performing the simulation experiments, the effectiveness of the proposed method is confirmed.
