Maintenance Overtime Poclicies with replacement at N project cycles over a planned time

(in English) This paper proposes extended models for maintenance overtime policy. We assume that the unit is replaced at $N$th ($N=1,2,dots$) completion of the project cycles over the planned time $T$. When one project work is completed, we start another project work immediately. The unit is used in some project cycles such as software development, and have an identical time distribution. We cannot, therefore, predict in advance the times of completion of any projects. Especially, we treat following two models: (1) if the unit failed then it is replaced immediately, (2) if the unit failed then minimal repair is done. We obtain the mean time to replacement, and the expected costs rate. Further, we discuss the optimal planned time $T$ and the optimal number of $N$ which minimize the expected cost rate when the project time is exponential. Numerical examples are given when the failure time has a Weibull distribution.
