The research and development for autonomous vehicle technology have been accelerated. Passengers in the autonomous vehicle likely do not pay attention to the environments in front or lateral because they are overestimate autonomous functions. However, at early phase of development, driver will be allocated to the passenger from the vehicle in case of emergency. Then, efficient methods need to be developed for passengers to be ready for driving immediately in such a condition. In our research, we focus the influence of a sound on gaze behavior. In this paper, a method of measurement of passengers’ gaze behavior by auditory stimulus in the simulated cabin of autonomous vehicle is proposed. |
