Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) It is hard to understand legacy code for an embedded software system. It leads much cost for maintaining and reusing the system. Real-time control for an embedded software system can be represented as a state transition model. Developers are able to use the state transition model for understanding the state transitions of the system and detecting inconsistency from the transitions. In this study, we propose an approach to extracting state transition tables from legacy code for the understanding of an embedded software system.
