Soft Decision Decoding Method in Overload MIMO Receiver applied to The Lattice Reduction-Aided with a Virtual Channel

(in English) This paper proposes a soft decision decoding receiver in overload MIMO-OFDM(Multiple-Input Multiple-Output - Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing) in consideration of the high-speed transmission of the downlink.
Proposed receiver performs rotation matrix estimated and demodulation using the LR-MMSE with a virtual channel for each subcarrier.
It is possible to hard decision demodulation of a high performance in overload MIMO.
Moreover, it can be selected to reduce the amount of calculation by changing the size of the rotation matrix used in the virtual channel.
In addition, calculate the soft information of the demodulated signal.
Then, input to the soft decision Viterbi decoder.
In this paper, we present the transmission performance of the proposed method by comparing the soft decision and hard decision.
