Acoustic beam characteristics of polarization inverted transmitter for wide view in near field

(in English) Experimental study regarding self-focusing of polarization inverted array was done. In the array, the polarization of each element is 180-degrees different from the polarization of neighbor elements. It was reported that the transmitted wave from the array is self-focused by special wave form, although all elements are driven by same wave form. And it was pointed out too that the focus is improved using self-focusing of the sub aperture. We made a new prototype of the polarization inverted array which has 8-electrical-chnanels, and evaluated the self-focusing effect.
