Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) The 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and 2016 Kumamoto Earthquakes had a great impact to numerous people all over the world and reconfirmed the importance of anti-disaster measures.
Under the big disaster, there are people suffering from some aftereffects such as post traumatic stress disorder.
In this study, we detect users who have mental illness symptoms concerning an earthquake.
We first focus on the users suffering from an earthquake and track their sentiment behavior before and after the disaster using Twitter as a sensor.
Moreover, connecting earthquake survivors and their mental health condition, we aim to extract mental health aware victims.
Our results suggest that sentiment deviation and linguistic style during the earthquake period represent user's mental condition, in addition to earthquake-specific word frequency.
We believe that this work contributes to early mental health care for people suffering from aftereffects of a huge disaster.
