Due to the spectrum reallocation plan by the migration to digital terrestrial TV broadcasting in Japan, a portion of VHF-high band which became vacant spectrum between 170 MHz to 202.5 MHz was allocated to the public broadband mobile communication (PBB) system. For the operation of the PBB system, ARIB STD-T103 was standardized for system operation after considering the technical requirement and the operation condition. This paper describes examination results of channel impulse response model in a non-line-of-sight urban environment where the usage of the PBB system will be expected. In order to examine the channel impulse response, the measurement results obtained by using the PBB device based on the standard was utilized in this study. |
