[Special Talk] Broadband Amplifier Using Current Feedback Pair of Two Transistors

(in English) The theme of the Microwave Circuit Design Universiade 2016 was design and fabrication of a wideband amplifier.
There is a negative feedback amplifier as a means for broadening the band of the amplifier.
Then, I selected with a method of applying current feedback by adding an emitter resistance to a bipolar transistor,it was confirmed that the gain in the low frequency range could not be suppressed and the fractional bandwidth could not be increased.
Thus,a current-feedback pair configulation by using two transistors was adopted.
The method was possible to obtain a flat gain even in a high band.
Fabricated amplifier obtained 181% fractional bandwidth.
