A precise state-of-charge estimation system of primary battery for IoT devices

(in English) Due to the spread of portable devices, small primary batteries are used in various places. Due to the attention of IoT, demand for small primary batteries is expected in the future, and there is a need to know the accurate timing of battery replacement. However, state-of-charge varies depending on the usage situation and temperature, and it is difficult to know state-of-charge with high accuracy. Therefore, we are developing a highly accurate battery charge estimation system considering various conditions. In this paper, we describe the implementation of the method for estimating the state-of-charge of primary battery using the recursive least squares method. Compared with the remaining amount estimation method by the current integration method, the accuracy is evaluated.
