[Poster Presentation] On the Properties of Host Signal Approximation on Image Watermarking Scheme Using Complete Complementary Codes

(in English) Complete complementary code (CCC) is a family of spread spectrum sequences having ideal correlation properties. Digital watermarking techniques based on CCC have been proposed by the authors. It has been shown that the proposed digital watermarking has high payload capacity even in the blind detection case. An improvement of CCC-based digital watermarking scheme called HSAM (host signal approximation method) has been proposed recently. In HSAM, embedding strengths are optimized in order to approximate the DCT components of the cover image with the embedded signals. In this method, different embedding strengths are applied to different embedded bits while a constant strength is applied to every embedded bit in the conventional method. In this report, PSNR and BER performances of HSAM are evaluated for various cover images through numerical experiments.
