| (in English) | Data analytics for IoT market is the most important issue today. Data needs to be converted to relevant information in a short window of time. This requires a distributed scalable architecture to cater to the needs of the growing data-analytics market. However, conventional distributed systems, scale-out systems based on CPU-centric architecture, are difficult to meet the latency/throughput requirements due to bus bottleneck caused by inter-CPU communication. The only way to address the latency/throughput requirements is to have a data-centric architecture which addresses the inherent issues of the conventional architecture. This paper introduces a new architecture for converged system that shows lower latency and higher throughput, than CPU-centric architecture and maintains linear scalability as compute and storage resources are added based on demand. | |
