Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Many family members who live apart are concerned about each other's everyday lives and health. Intimate communication between them however, can-not be satisfactorily taken because of life rhythm difference, lacks of common topics and hesitations of interventions. In this research, based on the sensor information installed in family homes, we propose chat-agent tweeting users’ family activity situations on smartphone displays: "My master seems to be doing something (A family’s agent A)", "What is she doing? (B family’s agent B)" and their tweets trigger conversations between families such like "I’m Watching TV (A family member) ". We constructed an agent system and performed a user study. Its experiments show that communication between mother and son of a family was activated and triggered by agent's tweets.
