The thickness of the specimen was measured in a noncontact manner using aerial ultrasonic waves. First, the thickness of the surface shape of the specimen was measured with a flat surface, and it was confirmed that the resonance changes with the distance between the specimen and the ultrasonic probe. Next, the thickness was measured by a resonance method with a shape other than a flat surface in consideration of actual thinning. Measurement was carried out by a resonance method on a specimen in which parallel grooves, triangular grooves, and circular grooves were simulated to simulate thinning with a sound portion of 5.5 [mm] and a maximum thinned portion of 5.0 [mm], and the thickness of the test object was I examined how it is measured. When ultrasonic waves were transmitted to both the thick part of the healthy part and the thickness part of the thinned part, the thickness of each of the healthy part and the thinned part was measured according to the distance between the probe and the specimen. |
