[Poster Presentation] Experimental Evaluation of Interference Suppression in MIMO Full-duplex System

(in English) Although the multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) full-duplex scheme performs transmission and reception in the same frequency band at the same time, it is difficult to decode a desired signal due to a self-interference. Thus, the eigen-beamforming with the end-fire arrangement has been proposed as an interference suppression method suitable for MIMO full-duplex. We clarify the effectiveness of this scheme by experimentally evaluating the bit-error-rate (BER) performance of the uplink desired signal from the mobile terminal while the self-interference in the base station is suppressed. The results showed that the proposed method suppressed interference power by 23.8 dB and achieved BER of 10^(-2) even though the desired signal power was 15 dB lower than that of the scenario without the self-interference suppression.
