Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) As a technique for improving the transmission rate within a limited frequency band, Multiuser MIMO (MU-MIMO), which realizes MIMO transmission with multiple user terminals, has been attracted much attention, because MU-MIMO improves the total channel capacity in wireless systems. In addition, MU-MIMO has been introduced into the standardization of IEEE802.11ac and LTE Advanced. Because the number of users in MU-MIMO is generally determined by the number of antennas at the base station (BS), the further frequency utilization can be improved if multiple users exceeds the number of antennas at the BS can communicate with BS at the same time.
In order to solve this issue, the multiple access with Non Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) using Successive Interference Canceller (SIC) with beamforming using Zero Forcing (ZF) was proposed. In this paper, we evaluate the performance when the number of beams with NOMA applied is increased up to four by computer simulation using actual propagation channel. Furthermore, we propose 6-user and 3-beam scheduling algorithm that reduce the performance degradation by interference between users and verify that the improvement on the bit error rate by the propose method.
