Performance Inference for Cooperative Spectrum Sensing with the k-out-of-N Rule: An MCMC-based Approach

(in English) In the research of cognitive radio, Cooperative Spectrum Sensing (CSS) is proposed, in which the secondary users (SUs) form distinct groups in order to improve detection performance of primary users (PUs) in wireless channels.In order to form appropriate groups, characteristics such as the detection rate and the false-alarm one of each SU are required.In this study, we consider a method to infer these parameters without a priori information.In the proposed technique, the $k$-out-of-$N$ rule is utilized to detect occurrences of miss-detection and false-alarm.Each SU automatically learns the sensing performance of itself and others by Markov chain Monte Carlo.We investigate the performance of the proposed estimation method by reproducing detection rate and false alarm one from pseudo data generated by simulation.
