Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) The understanding of the image depends on patterns of connecting sequence of gazing points which relate to area of interest(AOI). In this study, we focused football game as stimulus movies and examined the gaze patterns for visual objects which were predefined as AOI, then the effectiveness of viewer's experience and knowledge of football was determined using sequential analysis for gaze patterns. As a result, there was a significant difference in total gaze time to each AOI between experienced group and inexperienced group. Therefore, it was confirmed that there was a significant difference in the series of AOIs that gaze selection by the observer. We also examined a possibility of cluster classification for viewer's experiences using AOI sequence which was a temporal gaze pattern.
