Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) A gyrotron that generates high-power millimeter-wave is used mainly in nuclear fusion research, these days used in various fields such as life science. We used 28GHz 300kW-class gyrotron owned by Plasma Research Center in Tsukuba as a power source of long-range wireless power transfer. We transmitted the millimeter-wave at 1m and passed it through dielectrics. We regarded an attenuation by the dielectrics as a beam diffusion. We achieved the maximum power, 1.05 W, when we transmitted 52.9kW from the gyrotron and passed the beam through the attenuations.
