Time series analysis of failure rates of equipments for telecommunication networks. -- Improvement of the method of prediction --

(in English) The author has been predicted the failure rate of telecommunication network equipments by the state space model. The methods of prediction are distinguished by the pattern of failures. As a result of examination, it is found that the case does not correspond to the author’s proposal or the prediction accuracy is not appropriate. In this article, the author propose a method to improve the prediction as an alternative. Moreover, the example of analysis using actual outage data is also shown.
