In this paper, a propagation loss characteristic in an imaginary urban environment calculated using ray-tracing is modeled as a prediction formula. Firstly, the environment is categorized into several situations classified according to the difference of dominant arriving waves. The variables and their forms in the formula are determined based on physical considerations of dominant arriving waves in each situation. The coefficients of the formula are obtained through optimization based on the propagation loss of ray-tracing data. |
