A group-based scheduling method for landslide detection system with high-density wireless sensor networks

(in English) In this report, we propose a group-based scheduling method in high-density wireless sensor networks for detection of landslide area.
In our method, sensor nodes are grouped into some groups in which nodes in a same group do not interfere each other and are located spatially uniform in advance.
When a landslide occurs, sensor nodes broadcast packets in order of the group number they belong to while reducing duplicate packets.
In this way, the sink node can rapidly gather the sensor data from landslide area spatially uniform.
Through simulation-based evaluations, we show that the proposed method achieves an avarage packet reception rate of 85% from nodes located in landslide area, regardless of landslide's size.
