| (in English) | Since data obtained by Internet of Things (IoT) devices is correlated with their locations, location-based services (LBSs) of exploiting data locality are promising. However, since most current IoT platforms which are based on cloud services are not suitable to collect location data which has locality in terms of time and location. The authors address this issue by designing a location data collection mechanism without cloud services and propose to leverage publish/subscribe communication in Named Data Networking networks. This paper extends the mechanism so that up-to-date location data is collect without communication overheads. |
