Authors have studied degradation phenomena on electrical contacts under oscillations. In addition, they have developed a micro sliding mechanism using a piezo-electric actuator and an elastic hinges and have studied minimal sliding amplitude which degrades the electrical contact under some conditions. In addition, they have studied using a point mass approximation model of the oscillating system with input of pulsive wave external force rising with sine wave as input. In this paper, they report on a model with frictional force for more realistic study. |
