| (in English) | This paper describes the study on the relationship between EEG and depression scale / anxiety score for outpatients with mental health problem. A portable instrument with only one electric pole allows to measure patient’s EEG without stress. We can estimate the ratio of θ, α and β wave from the measured EEG using Fourier analysis. We studied the relationship between the ratio of these waves and depression scale / anxiety score. The results show that both of the depression scale and the anxiety score have a positive correlation in the ratio of θ wave, and a negative correlation in the ratio of β wave. Consequently, it was found that when the average frequency of EEG decease, the depression scale and the anxiety score tend to decrease. Therefore, this may offer useful information in a clinical setting. | |
