Low frequencies antennas takes a high cost due to large-scale. The authors proposed an antenna with a self-supporting iron tower to reduce the cost. In this report, note that the antenna achieves high radiation efficiency by feeding to a grounded iron tower with folded lines. A scale-model was fabricated and measured to validate simulation results. As a result, the simulated and measured results were in good agreement. Therefore, we clarify feasibility of the antenna and validity of simulation results. |
