Although automotive software is required to have high reliability in terms of product characteristics, it is becoming difficult to ensure reliability with limited cost due to progressing in scale and complexity. In this paper, we show the result of applying the software reliability assessment method applied in practical application field to automotive software. In
addition, we propose a simple calculation method to overcome the weak point of the conventional method that data to be analyzed become small, and show examples of reliability assessment based on actual measured data. |
