In this paper, we propose a new population protocol model, which is a computational model of mobile sensor networks, which is extended considering agents' moving speed. In the conventional population protocol model, it is assumed that interaction (communication) between agents happens uniformly among all agents. In this paper, we propose a population protocol model in which each agents can control its own moving speed and the frequency of interaction between agents changes linearly according to the moving speed. For the three existing protocols proposed in the conventional model, we extend the speed of the agent for this available model and analyze whether it is possible to shorten the time complexity (expected convergence time). |
