A composition of a split ring resonator and a strip conductor, a composition of a multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) and a cutoff waveguide have been proposed as a left handed metamaterial. Also, a multi-layered metamaterial wave absorber composed of MLCC and strip conductors has been studied. In this paper, we report the left-handed metamaterial composed of MLCC and strip conductors. First, by adjusting the width of the strip conductor, effective permittivity $epsilon$ and effective permeability $mu$ of the unit cell are extracted from simulated S-parameters. Next, transmission loss of multi-layered structure is examined. |
