Simulation results of input resistance dependence on dielectric constants of materials surrounding a normal-mode helical antenna

(in English) Currently, normal-mode helical antennas (NMHA) are studying for use as in Radio Wave Sensor (RWS) in the human body. The resonant structures will be changed because of wavelength change by permittivity (εr) of human body. Input resisstances will be also changed because of radio wave absorptions by conductivity (σ) of a human body. In this paper, input resisstance changes antenna structure, εr and σ are investigated through electromagnetic simulation by FEKO simulator. Morever, antenna efficiency and Q factors are obtained based on input resisstance values.
