Concern has been growing regarding the safety of ultrasonic therapeutic equipment such as high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) devices. It is necessary to establish high power ultrasonic power standard for evaluating the safety of human. We have started to develop a precise measurement technique by using calorimetric method for establishing the high power ultrasonic power standard. In this paper, we investigated the effect of dissolved oxygen level of water on ultrasonic power measured by calorimetric method. |
