We conducted an experiment to validate the effect of the change in the warning sound on the deterrence of the person’s entry into the level crossing after the notice of train approach by warning sound. As a result, we confirmed that adding voice to the warning sound makes entry rate lower. It was concluded that, regarding the quality of the voice, female’s voice is the most effective among male’s, female’s and child’s voice, and regarding phrase patterns, a simple phrase that does not include reasons for not allowing persons to enter, is the most effective among 4 phrase patterns. |
