[Poster Presentation] Ambient Intelligent Wireless Sensor Network for Environmental Monitoring and Indoor Localization Using an Extended Kalman Filter

(in English) In this work, we propose Ambient Intelligent (AmI) Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) that could monitor environment parameters like temperature, humidity around entity, and localize entity movement in indoor environment. DHT sensor is used to monitor environment parameters and Zigbee which is an IEEE802.15.4 based wireless specification is used for localization, that uses Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) values for locating position of an entity. In addition, Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) is adapted to filter noisy RSSI values. Performance of the proposed system are evaluated by deriving the Cramer Rao Lower Bound (CRLB) varaince for position estimate.
