(in English) LSIs such as FPGAs used in servers and telecommunication equipments are being developed at lower voltages and higher currents due to higher speed and higher integration. It turns out specifications of DC-DC converters that supply power to the LSIs are getting stricter. The traditional PID control has been widely used in low-voltage and high-current power supply. However, it is becoming difficult to meet to advanced power supply requirements. In this paper, a controller design method of digital power supply is introduced to obtain high performance of power supplies. By using the proposed method, both high-speed load changing and startup characteristics can be kept satisfactory.
