Design of N-way power dividers using LC-ladder circuit

(in English) In this paper, we are conducting an evaluation of N-way power divider using LC-ladder circuits. The proposed circuit has a configuration which unequal power dividers are connected in cascade, each unequal power divider is composed of LC-ladder circuit and a series circuit of a resistance and an inductance between the output ports. Thus, the circuit can be expected to be downsized. In order to confirm the validity of design method and construction of the circuits, we design the 4-way divider in VHF band and show the electromagnetic simulation and the measurement results. The measured results of the fabricated circuit at a center frequency of 300MHz utilizing commercial chip elements are good agreement with the simulation results, and confirmed equal distribution characteristics.
