A Study on Measurement Method of Radio Noise in Unlicense Band

(in English) In the environment of everyday life and work, various electric appliances exist. The operating frequency of electronic circuits embedded in them has been increased recently. In order to reduce the weight and cost, there are increasing cases where the housing is made of synthetic resin that is easy to transmit radio waves. As a result, unintended radio noise may be generated from the casing or wiring. Although each product has a EMC standard, there is a possibility of generating radio noise at an unexpected frequency when there is a difference between the situation that sets the standard and the present. We focus on unlicensed bands such as 920 MHz band, 2.4 GHz band and 5 GHz band mainly used by IoT devices. We measure radio noise and interference that may affect the wireless network there and promote research and development of a system that maximizes frequency utilization efficiency in the entire wireless network while reducing and avoiding the influence. In this paper, we explain the measurement method and results of radio noise in the unlicensed band which is required in this research.
