Improvement of Signal Processing for the Imaging with Pastel Color Filter -- Discussions of the Filter Characteristics and Frame Edge Processing for RAW Image --

(in English) In color imaging, single sensor system with color filter array (CFA) is popular, especially with Bayer CFA. The improvement methods using white component have been studied. On the other hand, the performance of de-mosaicking is improved for Bayer CFA. We have proposed new imaging system with pastel color CFA and the color plane reconstruction based on the average component filtering. In this report, we discussed frequency characteristics of filter and the image processing for frame edge of RAW image. We propose the mirroring processing for RAW images formed with CFA like Bayer. As results of experiments, it was recognized that the characteristics of the filter is almost optimal and the mirroring of RAW image is useful to reduce false color in the frame edge.
