(in English) In recent years, receivers based on superconductor-insulator-superconductor (SIS) mixers at millimeter/submillimeter wavelengths have reached sensitivities close to quantum-limited performance, and have been widely used for many applications such as radio astronomy, remote sensing and spectroscopy. We have initiated the development of low-noise heterodyne receivers with wider instantaneous bandwidth in order to achieve higher sensitivity and better observation efficiency toward future radio astronomy. Our approach is to introduce the concept of a multiband receiver using a radio frequency (RF) multiplexer for dividing the full RF band into smaller bandwidths. Here we report on the development of the wideband technologies of SIS mixer and the waveguide RF multiplexer, and demonstration of the multiband receiver concept.
