| (in English) | PLC ( Power Line Communications ) is communications technology to use the power-line which is existing infrastructures as transmission line and can build LAN easily. However, major technical standard-compliant PLC systems used in Japan are standardized by each standardizing organization, and detailed specifications and IP communications quality are not disclosed. Therefore, the authors have proposed IP communication quality evaluation method using an intelligent Hub in a previous study. However, an intelligent Hub has an influence on the IP communications quality. In this paper, we compare the IP communication quality in an intelligent Hub which is inexpensive measuring equipment with an aggregation TAP and propose an evaluation method of high accuracy IP communication quality using an inexpensive measuring equipment. | |
